The following high-end features of the NBU 1000/1600 enable true 5-axis simultaneous machining in one set up.

Swivel head

In combination with the highly dynamic linear axes, the universal swivel head realizes true and highly efficient 5-axis simultaneous machining. The swivel head features a high-performance, wear-free torque motor. High angular acceleration reduces auxiliary time. Integrated hydraulic clamping enables roughing operations of high-tensile materials. Zero backlash, pre-loaded axial/radial bearings ensure optimal rigidity and a long service life. The swivel range extends from 0° to +180°.

Rotary table (C-axis)

High-performance rotary tables and optional direct drive turning tables (mill-turn machining) increase the flexibility of your machining operations.

Standard rotary table
The torque-motor driven rotary tables (standard in NBU 1600, optional for NBU 1000) are equipped with a high-precision absolute encoder, a direct reading system for high-precision machining. Motion dynamics and linearity result in a high torque and improved performance. Maximum table load is 1,500 kg.
Optional turning table
Available as an option is the state-of-the-art mill-turn table with high speeds of up to 500 U/min. With its torque drive, milling and turning of high-tensile materials in one set up are possible. Maximum requirements regarding perfect finishes can be realized.

High-performanc spindles

No matter roughing or finishing: With the NBU 1000/1600, everything is about perfect machining – our spindles from all-rounder to high-speed cover all fields of applications.
